The present glossary offers an alphabetically arranged list of words from manuscripts transcribed before the Middle Welsh period, along with key published references. It exclusively uses records from the Old Welsh period, excluding the »Book of Llan Dav«, which requires further discussion and research. The data from this significant document serves as a comparative tool throughout the research. The focus is on compiling published analyses of Old Welsh, making the glossary an extended bibliography for the field. Entries are organized alphabetically according to the Welsh standard. Glosses with multiple words are segmented, and where segmentation poses challenges—particularly in certain Old Welsh verses—components are cross-referenced. In cases of unclear segmentation or variable readings, complete entries are provided. Homographic and homophonic lexemes are listed under different headings, while similar instances analyzed differently are treated separately. Parts of compounds and morphemes from nouns are not discussed independently; instead, their analysis is included in entries that contain the first element of the composite word.
