It begins with an introduction to the region's musical geography and examines the connections and divisions within Westfalen's historical context. The text addresses how historical constructs of space relate to creative environments. It highlights the mobility and cultural exchanges of early modern musicians in Westfalen, providing a regional historical comparison.
