At Arthur Conan Doyle it is sometimes difficult to determine where the detective story ends and the fantasy begins. The distinction between historical narration and, so to speak, “alternative history” is very conditional. The writer's attention to each of the "lost worlds" is extremely organic. Previously not translated stories by A. Conan Doyle, dedicated to the strange and incredible, as if created by the well-known hand of Dr. Watson, who suddenly decided to describe not the next adventure of the Great Detective, but a journey into the mysterious world. This collection reveals new facets of the talent of the Englishman and knight - Sir Conan Doyle.
