The PTPP(r) (Personal Totem Process) was discovered by E.S. Gallegos while working with the energy centers of the human body (the chakras). He observed that in their history and mythology, Indigenous peoples of North America create a connection between what they call Power Animals, often depicted in totem poles, and the different chakras. In his PTPP(r), Gallegos combines this ancestral knowledge with C.G. Jung's theories on the imagination, archetypes, and the collective unconscious, as well as with the insights of Eastern cultures on the importance and influence of chakras. He discovered that each part of our deep being is connected to animals and how it is possible to make contact with them. Since 1982, Gallegos has worked with this method and has experienced the exceptional therapeutic power of our deep universe.
