Outstanding Stories by General Authorities

Więcej o książce

Outstanding Stories by General Authorities lives up to its title. Leon R. Hartshorn, a popular teacher and lecturer, has skillfully selected stories that are sometimes humorous, sometimes poignant, and always inspirational. Frequently they call to mind the brethren who told them—their personalities and manners of speech. Among those quoted are Marion D. Hanks, Paul H. Dunn, Hugh B. Brown, Gordon B. Hinckley, and LeGrand Richards. The stories in this volume are not merely entertaining; they illuminate all illustrate gospel principles in action. Some give glimpses into the family lives of the brethren. Many deal with missionaries and conversions. All are stories that will be read again and again, making Outstanding Stories by General Authorities a valuable addition to any personal library.
