This work presents a model predictive control for Multi-Carrier Energy (MCE) systems. Therefore a general modeling concept for all kind of MCE distribution grids is developed. Based on these models a predictive control strategy for the optimal operation of the system is designed. The results show that by using this control scheme a more locale use of renewables or a significant reduction of the operation costs can be achieved.
