This is the first so extensive monograph of this American amphibian, which has - although it did not took part in great battles - written a glorious page in American air forces history. The Duck was used by US Navy and US Marines, as well as by US Coast Guard. The book describes the history of the airplane's development in connection with Grumman Corporation history. Another chapter is devoted to the Duck's service in USA and Argentina. A Camouflage and marking section and a technical description are also included.
