The efforts by the Jigawa state government policy for 50 meters distance between farms and major roads and 30 meters between farms and state roads on recurring scramble for scarce ecosystem resources is commendable in the study area. Multi - stage random sampling method was employed to select 80 respondents for this study, which include 40 farmers and 40 pastoralists. Data were analyzed using simple descriptive statistics which include frequencies and percentages. Majority of the respondents had adopt the state policy on fifty meters distance of their farms closed to livestock watering points, grazing reserved, and to cattle routes.
