Eddie Levitt lives in a world of fear where he sits paralyzed and having to live out his same old, boring and ordinary life. Coming home from his mundane desk job stamping pages all day, talking a bit with his nihilistic cat and dreaming of becoming the success he'll never be, Eddie Levitt is every one of us. His life couldn't be any more wretched and mediocre, until one day his neighbor points out that his hobby science fiction stories have already been published. He soon meets a girl from his nightmares, goes on a hunt for a time traveling thief and, seeking to find the ultimate meaning to everything, ends up on a murderous rampage.
