'Because I am a Girl: The State of the World's Girls' is a series of reports examining the rights and needs of girls and young women in both developed and developing nations, focusing on issues distinct from those of male children and adult women. The series will report each year from 2007-2015, which is the same period as the United Nations Millennium development goals.
