Six step-by-step projects for making jewelery from natural materials. Each chapter includes brief information about the material (history and qualities), an introduction to the item to be made in the section, and information about other materials and tools required to work with this particular material. Pieces made in each chapter will vary, e.g., there will be a necklace made from grasses, a ring made of stone, a brooch constructed out of wood, and so on - this way the author can demonstrate a broad range of techniques.
