The Shape of Water Commissario Montalbano solves his first case. In his first case, a politician is killed. Everything initially points to a natural death, and the judge instructs Montalbano to close the case—to give the family peace and because there seems to be no need for an investigation. However, Montalbano insists on probing a little further. He makes a shocking observation: the natural death was not so natural, and the location—a brothel—raises his suspicions.
