This volume contains opuses 57 (Appassionata); 78,79,81a(Les Adieux); 90,101,106 (Hammerklavier); 109,110 and 111. The editorial additions have been kept to a minimum and are indicated by square brackets. In regard to the manner of performance, the exucution of ornaments, and fingering, no suggestions have been made. Beethoven's original fingering is included unchanged. The inconsistencies of the sources are explained in the notes.
