Determined to find Mia, Ellie searches the venue and is horrified to discover a body in the river, floating next to a white veil. It’s Tori, Mia’s bridesmaid, shot in the back. Nearby, Ellie finds a button from a man’s shirt and Mia's engagement ring, intensifying the urgency to locate her friend. As forensics reveal that Mia is actually Jesse Habersham, a woman who vanished five years ago, Ellie realizes Mia is likely fleeing from someone.
