Tylko jeden badacz na świecie, fizyk teoretyczny Carlo Rovelli, poświęcił wiele lat na zgłębianie czarnych i białych dziur. W tej książce przystępnie i filozoficznie przedstawia, czym mogą być białe dziury, jeśli istnieją. Opisuje, co moglibyśmy zaobserwować, gdybyśmy znaleźli się we wnętrzu czarnej dziury, a następnie przeszli przez specjalny tunel na drugą stronę. Rovelli zachęca do odbycia tej niezwykłej podróży.
