Ulubiona książka dzieciństwa naszych dziadków i rodziców. Opowieść o serdecznej przyjaźni, prawdziwej dobroci i wielkiej tajemnicy. Zafascynowała też Agnieszkę Holland, która zachowując wierność powieści stworzyła urzekająco malarski film o dziecięcej przyjaźni.
