Klimt is regarded as the painter of women. Each of his female portraits is surrounded by a web of rumors and speculations regarding the artist's erotic escapades. Without women offering themselves as a morning gift to his art, Klimt is simply unimaginable. Like a tapestry of blooming flowers, they encircle his work.
