This classic samurai novel chronicles the real-life exploits of Japan's most renowned swordsman. Miyamoto Musashi, born during a time of civil unrest, is drawn to the pivotal Battle of Sekigahara in 1600, hoping to become a samurai without understanding its true meaning.
