Palo Macho (1965) is a significant representative of contemporary artistic glass, focusing on painting on glass. It merges colors with glass based on the principles of classical painting, using a glass plate and glass enamels, whose shades reveal themselves only after the melting and firing process. His paintings consist of several layers, with underpainting, inner painting, and surface painting intertwining. Every detail must be meticulously planned and verified, with the artist's gesture and touch being integral to his work. Macho's art combines mass, volume, and color, where the transparency of glass and light play a crucial role in its perception.
