First Certificate Avenues is a 15 unit, topic-based coursebook which prepares students for the exam while at the same as providing them with a motivating course at the intermediate/upper-intermediate level. The Coursebook is attractively designed in full colour and is accompanied by a set of two cassettes, and a Teacher's Book which provides thorough support to the teacher as well as an answer key and tapescripts for all the listening material.
