In the latest literary whodunit by Anthony Horowitz, the author finds himself entangled in a murder investigation, becoming the prime suspect. After deciding to end his partnership with ex-detective Daniel Hawthorne, Horowitz is focused on his new play, Mindgame, set to premiere in London's West End. However, the play receives harsh criticism, particularly from Sunday Times critic Margaret Throsby. The next day, Throsby is found murdered, stabbed with an ornamental dagger that belongs to Horowitz and bears his fingerprints.
