Calladia Cunnington curses the day she met Astaroth the demon, yet when he appears memoryless, she finds him unexpectedly helpless and somewhat attractive. Astaroth, a legendary soul bargainer and member of the demon high council, suffers from amnesia after being banished to the mortal realm. He has no idea why a demon named Moloch is pursuing him or why the fierce witch who saved him despises him. Despite her feelings, Calladia reluctantly decides to help the vulnerable demon, reasoning that punching an amnesiac would be in poor taste. Together, they embark on a road trip to find a witch who can restore Astaroth's memory and help them confront Moloch. As Calladia vows to kick Astaroth's ass once he's cured, she finds herself drawn to his new, charming persona. The more time they spend together, the more she realizes she might not want him to regain his memories after all.
