Set in the year before The Phantom Menace, the narrative follows Yoda, Mace Windu, and the Jedi Council as they confront a galaxy undergoing significant change. With the Jedi Order increasingly isolated on Coruscant, Qui-Gon Jinn challenges the Council's detachment, prompting a goodwill mission to the planet Kwenn. However, their arrival triggers a violent response from uniting pirate factions intent on assassinating the Council. The Jedi must confront the reality that their focus on the future blinds them to the urgent needs of those in the present.
