This workbook is designed to complement the revised third edition of Integrated Korean: Beginning 1, the first volume of a popular series created by experienced educators and linguists. The series adheres to performance-based principles, emphasizing contextualization, learner-centered approaches, authentic materials, and a balance between skill acquisition and application, integrating speaking, listening, reading, writing, and cultural insights. Grammar is introduced systematically with clear explanations, numerous examples, and exercises. Each lesson features model dialogues, narrations, vocabulary, cultural notes, grammar usage, and English translations. In response to feedback from users of the second edition, the third edition showcases an appealing color design, new visuals, and reorganized lesson and vocabulary exercises. Each lesson includes a conversational text with a vocabulary list and a reading passage. The workbook, available in both online and paperback formats, offers extensive activities that reinforce skills learned in the main text. Integrated Korean is produced by the Korean Language Education and Research Center (KLEAR), supported by the Korea Foundation. In addition to the five-level textbooks and workbooks, the series includes resources on Korean composition, language in culture, and readings in modern literature.
