The Anatomy of the head and neck was developed in response to the needs of students who demanded a solid text for study. Managing such a demanding area of anatomy, such as head and neck, requires not only thorough knowledge of anatomical structures individually, but also knowledge of their interrelationships and contexts in specific areas of the head and neck. The book is intended primarily for students of general and dental medicine in the early years of their study. Combining a systematic and regional anatomy approach will provide students with an appropriate form of head and neck anatomy, in which the acquired knowledge can be used as a basis for further study of clinical subjects of medicine.
