Former mercenary, Sonja Kurtz, is hired by business tycoon, Julia Clyde-Smith, to head an elite squad. Their aim is to take down Africa's top poaching kingpins and stop at nothing to save its endangered wildlife. But as the body count rises, it becomes harder for Sonja and her team to stay under the radar. When her former flame, safari guide and private investigator Hudson Brand, is hired to investigate the death of an alleged poacher, Sonja is forced to ask herself if Julia's wildlife crusade has gone too far. As the investigation deepens it becomes increasingly apparent that an underworld syndicate, the Scorpions, are pulling the strings behind Africa's poaching epidemic. Just as Julia is intent on wiping out poaching, the Scorpions are concentrating on taking out the women who stand in their way.
