Więcej o książce
Exploring the concept of "person," David Walsh argues it is central to modern political thought. The book is structured in three parts: the discovery of the inexhaustibility of persons, the philosophical differentiation of the concept, and its historical emergence through art, science, and faith. Walsh traces the roots of "person" to Greek and Christian ideas, emphasizing its modern significance linked to interiority. He posits that recognizing individuals as unique worlds enables genuine communication, friendship, and community building.
