Erkiulis Puaro, vienas iš žinomiausių Agatos Kristi detektyvų, „Prometėjo“ lėktuvu skrenda iš Paryžiaus į Angliją. Be jo, galiniame lėktuvo salone yra dar dešimt keleivių ir du stiuardai. Hercule Poirot, one of Agatha Christie’s well-known detectives, is flying from Paris to England on board of the Prometheus plane. Besides him, there are ten other passengers and two stewards in the rear cabin of the plane. While Poirot is sleeping, one of the passengers, Madame Giselle, is found dead. Solving the case is difficult, for none of the passengers has seen anything suspicious. All the passengers in the rear cabin, including the stewards and Poirot himself, become suspects. Poirot wants to clear his name, so he participates in the inspector Japp’s investigation. He examines the relations among the deceased woman and the other passengers through his unique, well-tried methods. In the end he convicts the murderer.
