From the USA Today bestselling author of The Hating Game and 99 Percent Mine comes a clever and funny story about a muscular, tattooed man hired as an assistant to two elderly women, all while under the watchful eye of a beautiful retirement home manager. Ruthie Midona has dedicated six years to the Providence Luxury Retirement Villa, caring for residents and maintaining the property, while neglecting her own youth and beauty. Her life takes a turn when she meets Teddy Prescott, the carefree son of the property developer who just acquired the retirement center. Teddy, known for his partying and lack of ambition, is forced by his father to stay at the retirement home and work to earn his keep. Ruthie sees this as an opportunity to offload Teddy onto her two eccentric residents, who have a reputation for scaring away assistants. However, Teddy proves to be a match for the feisty women, charming the entire villa and bringing laughter to the residents. As he helps Ruthie reconnect with her youthful spirit, she discovers that Teddy's father plans to sell the retirement home, putting everything she values at risk. This hilarious and warm novel is a joyous celebration of love and community, perfect for fans of the author's previous works.
