Rachel Blum and Andy Landis are only eight years old when they meet late one night in an ER waiting room. Their encounter is brief - born with a congenital heart defect, Rachel is no stranger to the Miami hospital, but Andy is there only to treat a broken arm. They think they'll never meet again.
