Więcej o książce
A novel set in ancient Greece before the Trojan War, during the transformation of a matriarchal society into a male-dominated one. From this historical conflict arises the legend of the Argonauts, who, led by Jason, set out to Colchis in search of the lost sacred relic, the Golden Fleece, which adorned the statue of Zeus. Although the author's modern rendition of the legend is based on a range of scholarly sources, it is not a dry and factual reconstruction, but a readable, slightly ironic story.
